From the Allegany Music Festival
You’re invited to a friendly, feel-good evening of live music and community at this year’s Family Weekend Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
The celebration outside runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Town Park (Main & 4th Street). At the event, come enjoy a local favorite acoustic guitar & drums duo, Brian Ash & Pete Gilroy as they serve up classic rock favorites.
The inside festivities continue into the night across the Village of Allegany from 6 PM to 12:30 AM, with performances slated for Hickey Tavern, Burton Hotel, Other Place, Hometown, and Fusion. From 6:00–9:00 PM, Miss Hoshi’s Trio (MH3) “Hickey Tav” brings acoustic guitar, bass, sax, and violin to a blend of country rock, bluegrass, and jazz. From 7:30–10:30 PM, Alex Cole “Burton” delivers unplugged country rock. From 9:00 PM–12:00 AM, Jason Wedlock “Hometown” performs acoustic rock. From 9:30 PM–12:30 AM, Sticktights “Hickey Tav” span rock, folk, punk, and everything in between. Then lastly, we have, DJ Joe at the Other Place from 10:30 PM-2:00 PM.
Admission is free and open containers are permitted. Bring friends, chairs, and blankets. Come enjoy the fun!
In addition to the live music, participants can join a cornhole tournament starting at 6:30 PM. Sign-ups will be available shortly before the tournament begins. Winners will receive trophies plus $100 in prize money.
