Responsibilities: The Planning Board performs only tasks assigned to it by the Town Board. The Town Board may also seek recommendations from the Planning Board.
Residency Requirements: Planning Board Members are considered public officials and thus subject to residency requirements fount under Public Officers Law § 3 as well as Town Law § 23.
