Evan Tsai leads important reboot
From the Allegany County Young Professionals
The Allegany County Young Professionals (ACYP) group is excited to announce its official relaunch and aims to provide opportunities and support for local young professionals in the Allegany County area. Revitalization efforts began with a small gathering at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center in Wellsville, NY on October 29th.
The event was led by Evan Tsai, Finance Project Manager at Alfred University and a graduate of Houghton University.
The relaunch emphasizes career development, networking, and fostering a supportive environment for professional growth.
Craig Clark, Executive Director of the Allegany County Industrial Development Agency (ACIDA), said, “The ACIDA supports and sponsored the first meeting for the restarting of the Allegany County Young Professionals. We were part of the initial startup and continue to see the value of recruitment and retention of young professionals and anyone that adds to the workforce and communities in the county.”
Ashleigh Madison, Executive Director of IncubatorWorks and one of ACYP’s founding members, echoed this sentiment, adding, “we are excited that the Allegany County Young Professional group is re-starting in our community. The recruitment and retention of our young professionals is crucial to the success of a thriving workforce ecosystem.”
It is a pivotal time to revive ACYP, as local leaders recognize the importance of attracting and retaining talent to support the ongoing growth of Allegany County.
