The lifesize decoration was part of the library’s scarecrow contest

Someone has decided to mess with some serious voodoo in Wellsville. A wonderfully designed witch scarecrow was placed in the front lawn of the David A. Howe as a submission into the seasonal scarecrow contest. The witch was installed on the lawn by the local fun loving charity fundraising coven known as “The Brew Witches,” who were not happy to find this early Wednesday morning:

They screamed into the cold morning air: “BRING HER BACK NOW !!”

Because witches understand mischief they are offering to spare the theives a serious hex once the surviellance videos are accessed.

“Bring her back immediately and we shall forgive your trespass, spare you and your family a horrible hex, and never speak of this again,” said one of the Brew Witches. The people of Wellsville love these decorations as you can see some of the locals posing for a group photo recently:

Do spread the word and put this witch back into her rightful place in the scarecrow contest. Failure to do so will almost certainly bring shame and punishment for those behind the theft.

Currently the Brew Witches are celebrating the best time of year by raising funds for the Hart Comfort House in Wellsville. You can contact them discreetly through the Wellsville Chamber of Commerce, 585 593 5080 or use our anonymous contact form.

*Editors note: These witches mean business and the David A. Howe Library has security cameras !!
