Monday morning May 1 the “Genny” will be roaring
For the latter part of April 2023, the Genesee river has been rolling along at a steady flow, just under the five foot stage. During the the day on Sunday April 30, the river is expected to rise rapidly, doubling in volume by midnight.
If the mighty Genesee is a factor in your morning commute on Monday May 1, be ready for high water. The water is expected to drop significantly and be back within a normal range by Tuesday morning.
