Hannah Marie CLARK WU, 40, of Exton, PA, formerly of Whitesville, NY, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023 surrounded by her family.  Born January 14, 1983, in Hornell NY, she was the daughter of Harry Robert and Cindy Hutchison Clark.  She is survived by:  her mother & stepfather, Cindy and Ron Welch;  a brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Joanna Clark;  beloved and special nephew, Graham Clark;  step-sisters, Jennifer Welch and Jessica Quick;  lifetime soulmate, Jonathan Wu;  as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless wonderful friends she made along life’s path.  She was predeceased by her father, Harry Robert Clark;  and grandparents; Frank and Ruby Chase, Harry Hutchison, and Carl and Helen Clark.

A 2001 graduate from Whitesville Central School, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Messiah College in 2006 and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2022. She was currently seeking Board Certification in Behavioral Consulting Instruction and had recently accepted a position with Creative Health Services as a consultant/mobile therapist.

Hannah had worked as a behavioral technician for many years at The Vista School for autistic children in Hershey, PA.  Her passion was helping the autistic.  She was formerly employed as behavioral technician by hospitals in Pottstown PA, Eagleville PA, and the Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.  She also worked for The Lovaas Institute in New Jersey as a behavior/educational case manager.

Hannah was very creative and enjoyed making jewelry, weaving, gardening, decorating, and helping others.

Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial celebration of life on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Clark-Welch home, 530 Main Street, Whitesville, NY. This will be a casual event, held rain or shine under a tent. Come dressed for the weather and enjoy time to reconnect and share precious memories with friends.  Friends are welcome to bring a story to share, a photo for the photo board, and an appetite for snacks.
