Alfred, Bolivar, and Canaseraga could see changes

Michael T. Baldwin Reports

Allegany County is considering a change to its Transfer Station schedules. Superintendent Justin Henry says the proposed changes are based on current use and would help the department better accommodate the public. If approved, the change would not require additional funding. There is no planned change for the Wellsville schedule, but Alfred would lose its Thursday operations. Both the Bolivar and Canaseraga locations would gain service on Thursday’s.

The county Public Works Committee will discuss the matter on Wednesday.
