Signs of Spring: Wellsville American Legion plans annual leek dinner

Tickets are limited to the first 200 meals

Nothing says spring like a dinner served with wild leeks(or ramps if you are below the Mason-Dixon.) The flavor is pungent, a combination of an onion and garlic, that infuses into any other food they are cooked with. Potatoes, ham, eggs, or chopped up in a salad: you either love them or, you don’t. The Morrison Hayes Post 702 has been preparing this dinner for many years, and it sells out almost every time.

Stop at the bar or find your favorite legion member to get a ticket, before they are gone!!
