Woo-hoo! It’s time to start working on the Chamber’s next edition of the popular Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce Community Guide & Business Directory which is produced every other year. For this edition the guide will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Chamber and it is sure to be a collector’s edition!
The process takes about five months to go from concept to publishing of the print and digital versions, therefore we expect it will come out in spring 2025. You can view the ’23/’24 digital version here. The first edition of the guide was so popular we ran out of printed copies, so we doubled our printing of the ’23/’24 edition. We expect this 100th anniversary edition will be a blow out, especially considering the gorgeous cover art depicting the Wellsville mural by Corinn Mariott.
E&M Consulting will once again serve as our publisher, including managing the advertising sales and layout/graphic design. They are consummate professionals and produce a high-quality publication; we ask that you give them a moment of your time when they contact you.
A reminder that the advertising allows the Chamber to publish this prestigious and exceptionally fine marketing tool without any cost to the Chamber; it is a terrific opportunity to get your message out to a wide audience over the course of two years. The publication will be mailed to every member and advertising business and is also available for free at the Chamber. The printed guide is stocked at venues near and far, not only local businesses but also Swain, Letchworth, and the Belmont Quicklees as a few examples. This pulls in new visitors to experience our charming village, unique businesses, restaurants, and events. We keep these venues stocked with guides throughout the life of each edition.
Overall, you get a big bang for your advertising dollar! Members and advertisers will also appear in the Guide’s business directory at no charge. Consider buying a full page or half page advertorial, which presents your ad as an article on your business. Additionally, you might consider buying a “congratulations ad” giving kudos to the Chamber and thanking them for 100 years of service to the community.
You can view the ad rates/options and sign-up online; please visit: https://www.reserveyourad.com/WACOC/.
Special attention, if you bought a premium page in the previous edition and want to lock in the same page, we suggest you contact E&M as soon as possible. Take advantage of premium placement in a two-year run of your ad in this special 100th anniversary edition. To get a head-start, please contact the E&M sales associate Brian, at brian.b@eandmsales.com or 800-572-0011 ext. 0114.
We will use some of the same community interest stories from the earlier editions as they are timeless and are for the benefit of new visitors. If you have an idea for an article/story for this next edition, including the section on “must do” activities as seen on pages 30 and 31, please contact the editor, MK Kellogg at MKKellogg@outlook.com. All authors are given a byline with their article.
Your support is greatly appreciated…let’s make this guide one to remember!
