The Allegany County Health Department has released updated data on Covid cases, testing, and a breakdown of confirmed cases. In one week, the number positive cases and persons in quarantine increased exponentially. This report also provides the number of Covid cases per zip code, per legislative districts, cases by gender, and metrics on Covid vaccinations. An interesting and sad metric is the number of deaths, 59 Allegany County residents have died in county, while 32 more have died outside the county. In total, 91 people who call Allegany County Home have died since recording began in early 2020.
